Domain Spoon is Fixed!

As you may have been aware from the last published post, Domain Spoon hit some rocky spots in November and were not addressed until around a month ago.  I am happy to announce that the application has been fully repaired.

The patches were applied a couple of weeks ago, actually.  But, I wanted to hold off on the announcement until I had tested the app with a couple hundred thousand domains.  Now that Domain Spoon has been sufficiently abused with a 500,000 URL dump, I can honestly say that it’s stable.

That’s not to say that the application is immune to the normal API hiccups that occasionally occur in the course of a week.  Even during my testing, the Namecheap API would periodically stall or get sluggish… and the same happened with the Moz API a couple of times.  All in all, however, the application performed well and I was even able to find a few juicy domains for my PBNs.

So, if you are still a subscriber, you’ve probably already noticed a difference in the stability of the tool.  If you haven’t used the app in a while, go ahead and abuse it for all it’s worth.

Where are things going from here?

I am striving to make Domain Spoon faster, more stable and add features that will make finding highly-relevant expired domains faster than ever before.  We are even adding new features that will help with SPAM checking the domains too (in addition to the spammy anchor text check that Domain Spoon has always done).

In fact, Domain Spoon is now faster than it ever was.  If you are already a subscriber, go ahead and see for yourself.

Till next time, happy hunting!
